1. Scope
These terms cover the free website and interactive browser demo operated by Graham Miranda UG (haftungsbeschränkt). No paid app, subscription or other purchase is offered through this website. LIVE measurements use the independent Globalping service within its availability and usage limits. Accessing the website does not create an app purchase or grant access to a native app. If a paid product is released, the price, seller, applicable marketplace terms and consumer information must be shown separately before purchase. 2. What the measurements mean
EXAMPLE results are illustrative. LIVE worldwide ICMP or TCP measurements run from independent Globalping probes to the selected public target. The map displays probe origins, not a fixed destination location; an anycast address can reach different servers. In-browser device mode uses HTTPS to the displayed endpoint, including connection and server effects. It is not native device ICMP, a throughput speed test or a DNS query-speed ranking. A failed HTTPS request does not prove ICMP packet loss; an ICMP timeout does not by itself prove service downtime. Missing results remain unknown. Measurements can vary with network conditions, load, provider limits and browser CORS. Do not rely on this website alone for a safety-critical, financial or operational decision.
3. Acceptable use
Use this website lawfully and respect the service and other users. Do not bypass access controls, generate abusive traffic, disrupt the website, attempt unauthorised access or misrepresent demo results as real measurements. Use only public, authorised targets. The app validates host input, bounds test options and follows provider usage limits; a test option is not permission to probe another organisation. This website is not permission to scan or test systems you do not own or have permission to test. Do not submit credentials, personal identifiers or sensitive target names. The ability to reach a public host is not authorisation to test it. Stop testing if an operator objects, and comply with target and service-provider policies.
4. Intellectual property
The website’s original content and interface are protected where applicable. You may use the website and export your own test results for lawful purposes. No rights to third-party trademarks are transferred. Mandatory statutory exceptions remain unaffected. No exclusive rights in factual network measurements are asserted by these terms.
5. Availability and liability
The website may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn. There is no promise of uninterrupted availability or particular diagnostic accuracy. These statements do not exclude or limit liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, mandatory product liability, a guarantee expressly given, or other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. For simple negligence, liability for breach of an essential contractual duty, if a contract exists, is limited only to foreseeable damage typical of that contract insofar as applicable law permits. Your mandatory consumer rights remain intact.
6. Applicable law and consumers
German law applies insofar as a choice of law is valid. Consumers retain mandatory protections of the law of their habitual residence where applicable, including under Article 6 of the Rome I Regulation. Nothing here imposes an exclusive German court on consumers or limits non-waivable local remedies. No cancellation waiver is requested and no withdrawal deadline starts merely by browsing this free website.
