What the website code stores
The selected target, test results and page layout stay in page memory and reset on reload. The theme choice travels in the URL query as theme=dark or theme=light. Language is carried in the URL path, for example /de or /en. The website and embedded demo do not create cookies or write their preferences or history to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. CSV or JSON files are saved to your device only when you choose to export them.
What the hosting platform may use
On ordinary page loads neither our server nor Cloudflare sets a cookie. The application code creates none. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it triggers a bot challenge, and its exact name and lifetime follow Cloudflare’s own documented security cookie. Where device access is strictly necessary for a service explicitly requested, section 25(2) TDDDG provides an exception to the consent requirement. Any associated personal-data processing still needs an applicable legal basis.
Why there is no marketing-cookie banner
No optional website trackers, social widgets, external fonts or marketing cookies are loaded. The embedded app starts without third-party measurement requests. User-requested LIVE tests can contact Globalping after the sharing prompt, and device HTTPS can contact a chosen endpoint; those are diagnostic services, not marketing trackers. There is no optional marketing-cookie category to accept or reject in this code. A banner would not itself make a website compliant. If optional technology is added, it must remain off until valid consent where required, with an equally accessible refusal and withdrawal route.
Your controls
Reload or close the page to clear its in-memory results. Use the language selector or the /en and /de URL paths to change the website language. Use browser controls to manage platform cookies; blocking necessary security cookies may prevent access during a bot challenge. The code does not use trackers for any visitor, including those with Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track enabled.
